Greetings! Welcome to my website.

My name is Zhi Ji and I'm currently a master student at Columbia University and I'm studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Experienced in almost everything related to CS: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, full stack development, Operating System, Distributed System, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Reinforcement Learning.

I'm working for Jet.com/Walmart e-commerce now as a full stack Software Development Engineering internship and actively looking for full-time job opportunity for either machine learning or software development engineering.

Technical Skills.

1. Deep learning: I have two deep learning related publications. I also have done publication-level projects about GANs and Deep Reinforcement Learning. 2. Software System: I have many experiences on operating system development, database design, cloud computing works in AWS and distributed system and big data including Kafka, Spark and Hadoop. 3. Full Stack: I have hands on experiences on React, JQuery, Jinja, Bootstrap as well as Android Applications and I'm familiar with and have hands on experiences on building servers on AWS, NodeJS, Flask. I have used MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB. 5. Internet of Things: I'm familiar with embedded system protocol(I2C, SPI, etc.). Have done Raspberry Pi development.

Work Experience

Berkeley Video and Image Processing Lab

Helped research on Sorghum height and width estimation algorithm and published a paper at Electronic Imaging 2018 for Top Down Sorghum Height Estimation.

Chinese Academy of Science

Researched on quantitative analysis, developing stock price prediction algorithms as well as stock trading strategies in ensemble deep learning models.
